The New Jersey Anti-Hunger Coalition is launching “Every Child, Every Day”: A Campaign to End Childhood Hunger in New Jersey by 2015. This comprehensive campaign includes federal, state and local strategies designed to help more low-income children access nutritious food for healthy living.
Food Stamps and Child Nutrition Programs (which include School breakfast and lunch, Summer Food, and Women Infants and Children/WIC) are our nation’s first line of defense against childhood hunger, yet thousands of low-income children are missing out. These programs also bring much needed federal dollars into the state’s economy.
