With over 11,000 low-income NJ residents facing potential loss of SNAP (food stamps) benefits due to new 3 month time limits, soup kitchens and food pantries are bracing themselves for huge increases in demand for emergency food. Senator Sweeney partnered with NJAHC to raise awareness about this issue at a press event last week hosted by Eva's Village in Paterson.  Click here to see coverage on Channel 12 news.
